The National Phlebotomist register is live in the UK, providing the first true National Register. Phlebotomist's take bloods and are a large part of the health care system.

The NPR is accessible free of charge to all NHS trusts, medical facilities, work places and members of the public.
The NPR supports Cancer Research UK and Springhill Hospice, both charities benefit from a percentage of the fees received through phlebotomist registrations.
